Upon being granted a permanent position at Captain Words, I expanded my capabilities under the stewardship of the author and publisher Shaun M. Jooste. My duties remained the same, but I now have the opportunity to write under my own name. 

• I Currently write automotive content for some of the biggest Automotive Dealership Groups in Canada. This includes but is not limited to, new and used vehicle reviews, vehicle comparisons, promotional vehicle content, and blog posts of varying types and niches within the automotive industry. 

• I also write for a bonsai website called The Bonsai Alchemist. This position is slightly more solitary as I’m given a considerable amount of free rein regarding content direction.  I also take the initiative to suggest new topics that research shows would do well on Google and other search engines. The scope of my work for The Bonsai Alchemist covers everything from care guides to deep explorations into the histories of various plants or plant-related themes. 

• Another project I adore is Ancient Beasts. Here I have the opportunity to explore various topics and questions relating to our understanding of dinosaurs and paleontology. 

• Every month I contribute to a project in which I write short-form reviews of Android, Windows, and web apps for another repository called File Hippo. 

• I have also had the opportunity to write articles for B2B clients, which requires a slightly different approach, tone, and use of vocabulary. 

• I wrote promotional content for the iGaming industry (internet gambling)

• Contributed to various projects within the private sector, including numerous articles for automotive manufacturers and professional blogs. 

• I gained proficiency in editing and proofreading with and without the assistance of purpose-built software such as Grammarly, Hemingway, and various plagiarism checkers. 

• I also developed a rigorous research methodology that balances submitting quality content and researching topics as thoroughly as the brief requires.
